On Friday, October 5, the United States published an ambiguous report on the labor market in September.
In the non-agricultural sector of the country, 134,000 new jobs were created, which is below market expectations at 185,000.
An increase in average hourly wages (on a monthly basis) met the expectations of experts and amounted to 0.3%.
The unemployment rate fell from 3.9% to 3.7%.
Participants in financial markets are awaiting new information regarding the trade conflict between the US and Kata, as well as the Brexit process.

On Tuesday, the news feed will also be calm. The publication of important economic reports is not planned.
The volume of new homes construction in Canada will be released at 15:15 (GMT+3:00).
Wednesday, October 10th
On Wednesday, we expect the publication of important economic reports:
- Data on the UK GDP at 11:30 (GMT+3:00);
- The volume of production in the UK manufacturing industry at 11:30 (GMT+3:00);
- Producer price index in the USA at 15:30 (GMT+3:00).
Thursday, October 11th
On Thursday, the attention of participants in financial markets will be focused on the minutes of the last ECB meeting on monetary policy at 14:30 (GMT+3:00).
At 15:30 (GMT+3:00), investors will estimate statistics on inflation in the United States.
Friday, October 12th
On Friday, the news feed will be pretty calm. We recommend you to pay attention to the following economic reports:
- Consumer price index in Germany at 09:00 (GMT+3:00);
- Indices on export and import in the USA at 15:30 (GMT+3:00).
