Following AvaTrade’s notification regarding the new ESMA regulations sent on July 2nd, AvaTrade would like to inform you that Professional Trader accounts are now available.
In order to become a Professional Trader, you must meet 2 out of 3 criteria as follow:
- Sufficient trading activity in the last 12 months.
- Relevant experience in the financial services sector.
- Financial instrument portfolio of over €500,000 (including cash savings and financial-instrument investments).
What do you need to do to become a Professional Trader?
- Log into your account.
- Click on the “Professional Trader” tab.
- Check the criteria that you need to fulfil.
- Follow the instructions on your screen.
