Difference of MT4 Live (Real) and Demo accounts
FXPrimus’s Demo and Live accounts basically have the exact same trading conditions including the same price feed.
Market Liquidity in Demo accounts
However, you may keep in mind that it is not possible to replicate a real trading environment on a Demo account due to technical limitations.
Trades placed on demo accounts are not passed into the real market and therefore their execution will not directly comparable to the trades placed on a Live account.
As in, in the Demo account, there is no liquidity concerns, so you won’t see any slippages, order delays/rejections or re-quotes at all.
Another difference is in traders’ minds.
As in trading with real money and virtual money do seem different and traders tend to make more trades without thinking well in Demo accounts.
Although Live accounts are different, as traders make trades for their funds.
Psychologically there are differences though, how that affects may be different for each trader.
Demo trading accounts are designed to allow traders to become familiar with the trading platform itself and will never be able to provide an identical trading experience to a Live account.
So please do not compare the results in Demo accounts to the ones in Live accounts.
