HotForex offers both two types of spread through MT4, Floating and Fixed Spread.
HotForex offers 8 different account types, and if you are interested in trading with the fixed spread, you need to open the “fixed account”.
You are allowed to open additional accounts with HotForex, so it is possible to have both spread types of trading accounts at the same time.
The typical spread of “Fixed Account” is as follows:
- USDJPY – 1.8 pip
- EURUSD – 1.8 pip
- EURGBP – 2.2 pip
- AUDUSD – 2.3 pip
Spreads are fixed during normal trading hours, but can be widened without prior notice due to high volatility in the market.
On the other hand, accounts with floating spreads offer lower spread condition.
Although the spread is variable and changes all the time, the general trading cost for the accounts with floating spread is lower than the fixed account.
Fixed account is suitable especially for EA traders.
