Question: Can I login to MT4/MT5 from different PC at the same time?
Of course you can.
All you need is your login information, the right connection settings and no firewall or blocked ISP.
As MetaTrader4’s terminal settings, you can login to the same MT4 account at the same time from different locations, and you can even place orders simultaneously.
There is no maximum limitation to the number of devices which can login to on account at the same time.
For your information, there is an “Investor Password” which you can provide to third party in order to show your account activity but not giving authority to change or place any orders to others.
By logging into your account using that password, simply you cannot do anything but just watch the activities.
To change password of your MT4 and MT5 accounts or for more information, please visit XM’s official website.
Can I login to several MT4/MT5 account on one platform?
Generally yes. Keep in mind though, you cannot be signed in to several accounts from one MT4 interface, it is possible to open MT4 several times to sign in to different accounts.
In order to use more MT4 on your PC, you need to install the application to different folders, otherwise the application will be just re-written on the previous one.
Or you can also login to several trading accounts using only one MT4, and let the program memorize your account credentials.
This way, you cannot manage all accounts at the same time though, you can switch your account one another at anytime by one-clicking account numbers.
There could be more solutions for MT4 and MT5 logins in the future. For the latest features, please visit XM Official Website.
