In order to confirm that you wish to close your Trading Account, please login to client portal first.
Then go to “Close Account” section and click the button below.
To close your Trading Account, it needs to be validated and it must not have any pending withdrawals, available balance or open trades on it.
For any open trades that you may have on your Trading Account, these must be closed for at least 24 hours before you proceed with the account closing.
If you have multiple accounts XM will proceed with closing the account immediately after your confirmation.
If it is the only account that you have, the close procedure will take 24 hours. If you open trades or deposit funds within this time period your account will be reactivated. You will also have the option to reactivate your account from the Members Area within this 24 hour period.
