Question: How can I get alert/notification from MT4/MT5 trading platform for certain actions?
MT5 has its built-in “Push Notification” tool which supports sending messages notifying of various events to mobile devices running iOS and Android using push notifications.
If you know, or have an EA or Script with “SendNotification” function, then you can get an alert/message via “Push Notification” to your mobile devices in real-time for any updates you want.
If you are not familiar with EAs or Scripts in MQL5 language, then you can still get notifications when a trade is executed successfully.
To do that, you need to install MT5 mobile app on your Android or iOS devices.
Then, please login to your MT5 account through MT5 trading platform, and go to “Tools” → “Options” → “Notifications”.
Now, you need to check the box of “Enable Push notifications” and type the MetaQuotesID in the required field.
The MetaQutoesID can be found through the mobile application. To do that, open the mobile version of the platform and go to Settings -> Messages.
