To change the password
If you wish to change your MT4 password for security reason, you can do it directly from the MetaTrader4 trading platform.
To do that, please follow the below instructions.
After logging into your MT4 trading account, go to “Tools”→”Options”. Or you can simply type “Ctrl+O”.
Then you will see the below new screen, where you can change the password and save.
You can simply type in your preferred new password in there and click on “Change”.
Please note that you can not change the password, if you don’t know the current password.
If you have forgotten the password
In case you have forgotten the password for logging into your MT4 account, you need to send an email to FXTM to reset it.
Unfortunately you can not reset the password by yourself, so you may need to wait for a certain time until logging into your trading account in this case.
If you haven’t changed the password, you can also find out the password by checking the email sent by FXTM when you have verified your account.
The email should contain full login credentials of your MT4 trading account.
For a security reason, FXTM might ask you to submit some additional documents to verify before resetting the MT4 password.
In case you have forgotten the password for the FXTM’s Client Portal, you can reset it at the login page.
You can also change the password to a new one by logging into the client portal.
