Question: How can I change order execution models on MT4/MT5 trading platforms?
There are 4 different execution models available on MetaTrader5 trading platform, which are Instant Execution, Market Execution, Request Execution and Exchange Execution.
Unfortunately, you can not change the execution model of your trading account, but the execution models are decided by your Forex broker.
The execution models maybe different by the account types, platforms and symbols which are available for trading.
If you like to see which execution model is used for the symbol you are trading, please right click on the “Market Watch” window and click “Symbols”.
Then you can find the execution model of the symbol you have selected in the below specified field.
*The execution model maybe different for each symbol.
