Question: How to open/use the "Depth of Market" on MT5 (MetaTrader5) trading platform?
“Depth of Market” board is available on any MT5 trading platforms form any brokers.
To open it, please right click on “Market Watch” and select “Depth of Market”, then the below window appears.
The red and blue lines on the left side, show the movement of bid and ask prices.
The “Volume” column shows the available market liquidity at each specific market price.
As you can see if there is no enough market liquidity available to match your orders, your order will find another available price or be rejected.
In the “Price” column, it is the list of market prices that match to the volume on the left.
At the “Trade” column, you can trade directly on the board or set/adjust pending orders by dragging them.
This trade option is available only if you have activated the “One Click Trading” tool on your MT5 platform.
