Question: How to send notification/alert from MT4/MT5 to several traders at the same time?
There are two ways to send notifications from MT5 trading platform to mobile devices or email addresses.
Push Notification
From MT5 platform, “Push Notifications” will be sent to mobile devices via MT5 apps.
With this tool, you can setup up to 4 devices(MetaQuotes IDs) and all relevant devices will receive the same messages in real time.
The notification isn’t a message or email, but a push notification you will receive on smart phones.
To activate this “Push Notification”, please go to “Tools” → “Options” → “Notifications” and check the “Enable Push Notification”.
Then type up to 4 MetaQuotes IDs which you like to send the notifications to.
Email Notification
If you have your SMTP server and login credentials, then you can also receive notifications to your email address with EA commanding the function.
To enable this option, please go to “Tools” → “Options” → “Email”, and fill in the required field.
You can only setup one SMTP server in this way though, you are free to forward the email received to other unlimited numbers of traders in real time.
