Question: Why I can't set objects(lines) on MT5 price chart, but only on the lines of the price chart?
There is an option “Precise Time Scale” on MT5 trading platform, that will bound all objects to bars along the horizontal scale of a chart if disabled.
The option is disabled by default.
By enabling it, then it is possible to position an object at any point between bars.
To do that, please go to “Tools”→”Options” and select “Charts” tab. After that, check the box of “Precise Time Scale”.
You can change this option chart by chart.
*This setting will be reset if you have logged out or close your MT5 afterwards.
