If you get the message on MT4 or MT5 platform, please left-click on the bottom right-hand corner of your platform.

When a pop-up window appears, select “Rescan servers” so that the system can scan the best server available with the strongest connectivity.

Then you can choose one of the servers from the list available.

If you are looking for the server with the lowest latency available, then you may want to check the “ping” which unit is m/s.

The lower the number is, the faster the execution.

If the connection speed is all same for all servers, then the all you can do is improve the internet connection on your side.

But FxPro normally specifies server names for each trading account, so you are only allowed to choose one of them for each account you have.

In case, you see “invalid account” error message, what’s wrong is not the server selection, but the account login credentials you have typed in.

Your Internet Connection speed matters

Note that the connection speed of your internet does affect and could delay order executions, no matter how good FXPro’s servers are and they can provide you with competitive execution speed for MT4, MT5 or cTrader accounts.

Less than 13 milliseconds, is one of the fastest in the industry and it is only available if your device or internet connection is capable of following.

In case you are experiencing slow execution speed (which causes slippage), there are several things you can do to improve.

• Avoid using public Wi-Fi
• Close unnecessary applications
• Disable unnecessary price charts, indicators and EAs
• Trade symbols with high liquidity
