XM has updated the maximum leverage to 1:1000 in June 2022.
Leverage 1:1000 does not apply to client registered under the EU regulated entity of the Group. The maximum leverage for Trading Point of Financial Instruments is 30:1.

If you are receiving this message when you try to log in your demo account, please firstly check when it was the last time the account was opened, as Demo accounts have a 90 day expiry period.
You can open Demo accounts at anytime and as many as you want though, you need to keep using it(login and trade) if you want to keep it opened without expiring it.
If your Demo account is still active, or you are trying to login to your live/real account, then please check the password is correct and that you are using the right server.
The password is Case-sensitive(for example, A and a are different).
Also the server name is specified for each trading account, so you may try out each server name and find out which one is available for your trading account.
Lastly, if you are using a MT4 installed from other broker, you will need to install another one from XM’s Official Website directly.
‘Invalid account/no connection’ for Live account
In case you get the error message for live account’s login, first you may check the internet connection.
If your device is connected to internet, then you might have used wrong login credentials.
For each trading accounts, XM has specified the following information:
- Trading server name
- Account number
- Password (which you can change later)
Make sure that you have typed in the correct login credentials.
If you have forgotten, you may retrieve in XM’s client portal or contact XM support team.
