If the “Modify” button is grayed-out when you try to set stop-loss or take-profit levels for an existing order like the photo below, there may be two reasons for this.
1. You have set the “Stop Loss” and “Take Profit” levels too close
In order to avoid operating mistakes, FXPro has set certain parameters on the platform, and you cannot set the “Stop Loss” and “Take Profit” levels too close.
To enable the function, you just need to set them wider.
2. The “Stop Loss” and “Take Profit” levels are set wrongly
Alternatively, it may mean that you have set these levels on the wrong side of the current price.
Please note that for short positions (sell orders), stop-losses must be set higher than the current market price and take-profit levels must be set lower than the current market price.
If you can’t still place orders on FXPro MT5 platform, please contact support team from FxPro Official Website.
