Forex currency pairs are available for trading 24/5 on HotForex MT4 without a break time though, Precious Metal CFDs are available for trading for the limited time.
The trading hours of Metals are:
Monday 01:00 – Friday 23:45 (in GMT+2/3)
The break time for Metal CFDs is from 00:00 to 01:00 daily.
All metal CFDs(including XAGEUR, XAGUSD, XAUEUR and XAUUSD) on HotForex MT4 has the same trading hours.
High Volatility around Midnight
Please note that around the midnight in MT4 time, as in before and after the break time, low liquidity in the market can cause high volatility to market prices regularly.
This will cause slippage to your orders and sometimes your order can get rejected depending on the available liquidity in the market.
HotForex sends all orders to its liquidity providers, thus the slippage and order rejection are caused by the inter-bank market, but not HotForex itself.
If you like to avoid low quality of execution, then you may trade during normal trading hours with normal liquidity.
