If your Forex broker supports NBP(Negative Balance Protection) and adjusts all negative/minus balance of all trading accounts to 0 in case the account has such balance, you do not need to cover the cost of “fixing the balance to 0”.

The amount of negative/balance is all covered by your Forex broker, and the trader does not need to cover any of its cost, or at least it is the standard for many Forex brokers.

The above is the case, even if you have made a deposit to your account before your Forex broker adjusted the balance to zero.

If you have made a deposit and you have covered the whole negative balance accidentally, you may contact your broker to reimburse the relevant amount.

Of course, after the NBP has applied on your trading account and you are making some profits in the future, the profit amount is all yours and it won’t cover the cost of NBP from the past.

For more information, you may contact your Forex broker, as the condition above are just the standard and can be different by brokers.
