If a price chart isn’t responding, as in not updating the new price quotes, the problem can be solved by checking out the followings.
Check the Market Watch
See the “Market Watch” window and see if any of the price is changing.
If the whole board is frozen, then you night not have logged into your trading account correctly.
In this case, please login to your account again by going to “File”→”Login to an Account”.
Maybe Saturday or Sunday?
All financial markets are closing on Saturday and Sunday, except Crypto-currencies.
If it is Saturday or Sunday and you are not trading Crypto-currencies, then you may need to wait until the market opens on Monday.
Trading Platform isn’t updated or supported
If none of the above is the case, then there may be problem with your trading platform or device.
Especially for MAC PC, there are often errors reported as MT4 and MT5 trading platforms are programmed windows based.
Please make sure that your device meets the “system requirements” for the platform and have installed the latest platform correctly.
