There are various reasons that affect the quality of order executions.

To improve the connection and make the execution speed better, there are some solutions.

1. Re-scan the server

If your account is compatible with other servers than the one you are using, you are able to connect with them and trade.

Sometimes changing the server may help the connection quality and even improve the execution speed.

To re-scan the server:

Click on the numbers at the right bottom corner of the MT4 screen, and select “Rescan servers”.

Your account will be disconnected just one moment, and reconnect the server again with the most strong signal(connection).

2. Close other programs

MT4 is a RAM consuming program that may affect the processing speed of your PC itself.

If the execution speed is slow, please try:

1. Close extra charts and indicator/EAs
2. Close other applications running in your PC
3. Close other MT4s if you are running more than one

Please try to not burden your PC with too much work.

3. Use other devices

Sometimes the problem is on the internet connection or your device side.

You may try using different devices or different internet connection to see if you can trade on better environment.

If your connection is slow, slippage often happens as it fails to find the available price at the moment in the market.
