Margin Call is an allowed margin level (40% and lower).

At this point, FBS is entitled but not liable to close all open positions of a Client due to the lack of free margin.

Please note that you do not receive any emails or phone calls from FBS to inform that your trading account’s margin level has reached the “Margin Call Level 40%”.

Stop Out is a minimal allowed level of margin (20% and lower) at which the trading program will start to close Client’s open positions one by one in order to prevent further losses that lead to negative balance (below 0 USD).

There is nothing you can do if the Stop out is already triggered in your trading account, but you will see the result of closing all positions in a moment.

NBP (Negative Balance Protection) supported by FBS

Your account balance can be negative after a Stop out in some market situations though, FBS applies NBP(Negative Balance Protection) to all trading accounts, so the broker will soon adjust the minus balance to Zero.

You will not lose more than you deposit with FBS.

Margin level from 40% to 20% is quite close. It is your responsibility to take care of all your positions by yourself, as you can even lose all your invested funds by trading Forex and CFDs.

Stop Out(liquidation of all open positions) occurs automatically according to the rule set by FBS, the broker will not take responsibilities of losses caused by the Stop Out.
