For personal live account XM requires one document of identity plus a proof of address.

1. Document of identity which is still valid

It is necessary to provide both sided copy of the document.

You can provide a copy of your Driver’s license, Passport or other government issued Identification Document.

2. Document confirming your address

The document cannot be older than 6 months since the issued date and contains your full name, address and the date of issue.

This document can be a bank account statement or a utility bill (e.g. for electricity/phone/ISP bill).

A whole page of the document has to be visible. You may cover sensitive information other than the mentioned above.

Other requirements to trade Forex with XM

These two documents need to be different, so you are required to provide two different documents to XM in order to start trading Forex.

Other than that, you need to be more than 18 years old and able to deposit more than 5 USD which you can afford to lose.
