A re-quote occurs when you request to execute an order at a specific price that is no longer available.

In such cases, you’ll be offered a different quote. This can occur during fast-moving markets.

The condition of the re-quote varies for each broker.

Re-quote normally occurs when the your requested price isn’t available in the market already, and there is a price gap between the market price and your requested price.

Many brokers execute the orders like this anyway, and this will cause a slippage on your execution.

You cannot change the setting if you prefer the “re-quote” or “slippage”.

This option can be selected by choosing your own broker.
