Question: What does "Volume" indicate on Market Watch of MT5 (MetaTrader5) platform?
The “Volume” column in the “Market Watch” window of MT5 indicates “the total volume of deals executed during the current session”.
As you can see, the trading volume in real-time with certain units below.
“M” indicates million and “K” indicates thousand.
If it says “1.00M”, that means the total of 10 standard lots are executed in that moment. (current session)
*Please note that this “Volume” doesn’t mean the amount of available market liquidity(Depth of Market).
If you like to see the trading volume, as in the “Market Liquidity” available during the current session, you may refer to the “Depth of Market” window.
There, you can see the total volume available in the market for each specific price in real-time.
