Question: What does “Volume” indicate on MT5's Market Watch window?
The “Volume” indicates “the total volume of the last executed order of the symbol within the market.”
As you can see the last market price which the last order was executed in the “Last” section, the “Volume” shows the trading volume of that order.
Please note that it is not the order executed by yourself, but it is the order executed by one of the market participants.
By referring to “Last” and “Volume” parameter, you can see the most latest activities of other Forex traders.
If you like to find out all information/data of other market participants’ activities, then you may refer to “Time & Sales” board from “Depth of Market”.
In there, you can see every single executed deal of all market participants in real-time.
It is a great tool to monitor the activities of other market participants.
