Question: What's "Copy Stop Loss and Take Profit levels" on MT4/MT5 platforms?
Copying(Subscribing) to the signals from MQL5 Community doesn’t let you follow the Stop Loss and Take Profit levels of the signal provider’s account.
It is the default setting, and you can change the setting by checking the box of “Copy Stop Loss and Take Profit levels” on your MT5 trading platform.
To change the setting, please go to “Tools” → “Options” → “Signals”, then you will see the below popup window on the platform.
By checking the box of “Copy Stop Loss and Take Profit levels”, all Stop Loss and Take Profit levels will be also copied to your trading account.
As Stop Loss and Take Profit orders are executed on your broker’s side(but not from MetaQuotes’s side), these orders can be executed even if your trading platform is closed or disconnected.
If you don’t check this box, you could miss some stop loss or take profit orders from your signal providers when your account is disconnected.
