The information of GBE Brokers on the website maybe outdated. New contents and promotions are coming up very soon!

Answer:

GBE brokers offers 5 different Precious Metals in a form of CFD which are:

  • Gold
  • Silver
  • Copper
  • Palladium
  • Platinum

As they are CFD(contract for difference) instruments, you can make a profit from the difference of prices.

When the price rises or falls, both of them are opportunities to make profits for traders.

Leverage/Margin Requirements

You can benefit from the high leverage 500:1 with GBE brokers, but that maximum leverage is only applicable to Forex Currency Pairs.

For CFDs you will be required 1% of the margin, so the maximum leverage you are able to utilize would be 1:100.

For Gold CFDs, up to 1:200 is available.

So you need to make sure that you have enough margin to support all your positions, especially for CFDs.

Commissions

In case of raw spread account type, you will be charged $9 per 1 standard round turn lot.

But for CFD tradings, all commissions are included in the spread, so you will not be charged extra during trades.

Please note that GBE brokers offers variable spread so traders can benefit from the lowest spread possible in MT4.

Overnight Swaps

All Precious Metals are subject to over night swap charges.

The swap points can be charged or credited depending on the direction of the open positions(long or short).

GBE brokers provides the average swap rates in a PDF file which you can access from the official website though, if you like to know the real-time swap points, you will need to login to the real/live MT4 account but not Demo.

Swap charge occurs at server time 00:00 in GMT+2(GMT+3 in DST, summer time).

Contract Expiration Date

There is no contract expiration date for tradings of Precious Metals.

So you can have your positions opened as long as you want for even years.

GBE brokers will close open positions in case you don’t have enough margins to support your positions.

You are welcome to continue holding a position and wait for the best moment to get the profit for yourself.

Trading hours

CFDs are not available for trading like Forex Currency Pairs, but these financial instruments are available in very limited time.

The Precious Metals Market is opened from 00.00 am to 10.45 pm daily and there is a break time which is from 11.00 pm to 00.00 am every day.

Please be aware that during news time and before and after the market closes, the spread tends to get wider than normal depending on the market volatility.
