Question: What each color (red, blue and grey) of "Market Watch" indicates on MT5 (MetaTrader5)?
The back ground color of “Market Watch” window changes by each symbol depending on the movement of market prices.
There are 3 colors and each color indicates the following price movements.
| Blue | The current price is higher than the previous one. |
|---|---|
| Red | |
| Gray | The price has not changed for the last 15 seconds. |
If the depth of market and the Last trade price is available for a symbol, the color is determined by the Last price.
Otherwise, the color is determined by the Bid price.
If a symbol is totally grayed out and you can select the symbol to trade, that means that the symbol isn’t available for trading in your trading account.
