Important Announcement – Germany 30 Index
Deutsche Boerse AG announced a significant evolution of the German flagship index DAX to provide better representation of the broader German capital market.
Effective from the 20th of September 2021, the DAX30 has been expanded to include 40 constituents and form part of the new DAX40 index.
On the HF platforms, the GER30 will be replaced by GER40.
Traders will be able to trade it the same way as before.
This change will affect you in the following ways:
- GER40 CFD index will be available for trading from Monday, December 13th on both MT4 & MT5.
- GER40.F CFD index will be available for trading from Friday, December 17th on both MT4 & MT5.
Trading on the GER30 CFD spot index will remain as normal until the end of Friday the 17th of December at which point GER30 CFD index trading will be set to close only.
Any open trade on the GER30 CFD index will be forced to close on the 30th of December at 21:30 server time.
