STICPAY withdrawal is now easier and faster with their new Unionpay Prepaid cards.
They listened to your feedback and have brought back the much-awaited prepaid card services.
How to get STIC card?
STIC Card is accepted in all over world and can be used in online and offline merchants. Also cash withdrawal is available for any ATM machine which supports Uniopay.
Clients can get STIC card as free-of-charge from STICPAY and transfer of fund from STICPAY account is also convenient with minimum fee.
You can get your STIC Card by following the steps below.
1. Charge your Account
Go to “My page – STIC card-money charge” and apply for transfer (minimum HKD 500).
Approval for charging may take 1 business day.
2. Login and Activate your card
After receiving your STIC Card, you need to set up password and “Activate”.
When setting up PASSWORD for existing PIN, use the PIN on the back of the card.
3. Use your card
Now you are good to go.
STIC Card allows you to use your money in STICPAY E-wallet anywhere in the world.

1. ATM withdrawal isn’t working
- Have you activated your STIC Card at card homepage? You need to do this after charging money to your stic card.
- Does the ATM have Unionpay logo? Only ATMs with Unionpay logo can be used.
- Select “English” or “Other transactions” on the ATM machines.
2. I cannot activate the card on the STIC card homepage.
You can only active the card after transfering/changing money from your Sticpay account.
This process could take up to 2 business days.
3. What if my card is lost?
STICPAY can reissue your Stic card with $10 process fee and $35 delivery charges.
Please email them for more information on your new card.
4. Can I use it for ebay or paypal?
Yes. Any online merchants that take Unionpay will take your Stic card.
Fees are waived for online transactions.
5. My Stic card application is not going through.
Check if you have minimum balance of $35 as that is the cost to process/deliver your card.
Check if you live in the restricted countries list below (Stic cards cannot be used in those countries).
Burma(Myanmar), Cote d’lvoire(Ivory Coast), Congo, Democratic Republic of the Cuba, Eritrea, Guinea, Republic of Iran, Iraq, Liberia, North Korea, Somalia, Sudan, Syria and Zimbabwe.
6. I am stuck in the page with an error message where I type in my name.
The name can have up to 18 characters.
In case your name exceeds 18 characters, just put the first initial in a capital letter.
For example “AAAAAAAAA BBBBBBBBB -> A BBBBBBBBB”.
If your name does not exceed 18 characters, you need to put your full name to match your passport name.
7. It says there will additional delivery charges.
Stic cards are sent from Hong Kong and unless you live in Asia, there can be additional shipping and handling fees.
In these cases, we email you about the additional charges and only process with your consent.
8. What will be exchange rates for using the card in a different currecy?
Stic card has the same exchange rates as what Unionpay has for each currency.
These rates are similar to any other credit card exchange rates.
The currency rate will be applied on a T+2 day basis.
9. Can I move money from Stic card to Sticpay account?
For the limitation of being a prepaid card, it is only possible if you use STIC Card as a credit card deposit method in you Sticpay account (standard credit card charges apply).
