Will Draghi Reveal His Economic Plan?
Investors worldwide will be focused on Mario Draghi’s speech on Thursday at 12:30 (GMT) to see what the European Central Bank plans for the future.
In September 2014, The ECB President had announced a stimulus plan, QE, “quantitative easing” in Jackson Hole. Since then, they have been purchasing assets of the private sector in the EU economy.
However, three years later, as the plan is soon to expire, the European Central Bank President refrained from sharing anything in the Jackson Hole meeting.
Despite the Eurozone’s underperforming inflation, the Euro is still going strong, and the markets are expecting to get ready for the future.
Will Draghi reveal any kind of future plans for the phase out?
