At 6:00AM UK local time today, UN Patron of the Oceans and FXTM’s new Brand Ambassador took his very first plunge into the English Channel for The Long Swim.

A 560km world record in-the-making has officially begun!

The Long Swim started at beautiful Sennen Cove – right next to Land’s End – in Cornwall, where FXTM staff were present to wish Lewis luck and host the media representatives, partners and public who gathered to see Lewis off.

• Thurs, 2 August – Weymouth

• Sun, 12 August – Portsmouth
• Sat, 18 August – Brighton
• Sat, 25 August – Rye
• Wed, 29 August – Dover (The Finale!)
