French AMF notices foreign brokers to not advertise to French retail traders.
Xtrade Europe LTD has announced that, the broker will stop advertising its service to residents in France effective immediately.
The decision was made in order to comply with the relevant notice by the AMF (Autorité des marchés financiers), French financial authority.
As a CySEC regulated firm, the broker will fully stick to the strict European financial regulation.
Now that XTrade is also urging all partners to remove any related marketing advertising material which addresses directly or indirectly by electronic means (including banners, emails, landing pages, articles etc) marketing communications to French retail clients on financial derivatives.
Since 2015, the regulation environment has been changing rapidly in Europe, Japan and also in Australia.
As the online market expands, there will be more new regulations expected.
