Question: How/where can I see which liquidity provider (banks) has executed my orders on MT5?
If you like to know whether you are provided with the fair trading environment or not, as in if your Forex broker really offers you with STP(Straight Through Processing) trading environment, you will need to confirm where your order has been executed.
If your order is executed by your broker, meaning that your broker has counter ordered your orders, then it isn’t a STP trading environment.
On MetaTrader5, there is a way to find out which Liquidity Provider is liquidating the market.
To find out, please right click on “Market Watch”, go to “Columns” and check the “Bank”.
Then “Bank” column will be added in the Market Watch window.
This “Bank” column shows “the provider of the financial instrument liquidity”.
This option needs to be enabled from your Forex broker’s side, and it is often disabled and shown like below.
Request for “Execution Confirmation”
Alternatively, you can also directly request to your Forex broker for “Audit Trails” of your orders.
Some Forex broker provide you with “Execution Confirmation” which shows you all the details of your order and where it was executed.
But it is possible that to acquire “Audit Trails” of your orders as long as your Forex brokers accept the request.
