On Thursday the 8th June 2017 the UK will hold a general election.
After an initial Tory landslide prediction the poles have tightened and if 2016 taught us anything it’s be prepared for some unexpected results.
Given the increased risk of volatility and potential extreme market moves Valutrades will be increasing margin requirements on UK and European equity index CFD’s from 1% to 2% 1 hour before each market closes on Wednesday the 7th June 2017.
ValuTrades will reduce margins as soon as the result is clear and volatility is reduced.
