Although there are many arguments regarding to the topic of the creation of Bitcoin, the first Bitcoin’s idea (as in the specification and proof of concept) was published by the well-known man, Satoshi Nakamoto in 2009.

Since its publication in the cryptography mailing list, the Bitcoin Community has grown to be the largest among many other Crypto-currencies.

Bitcoin is the first Crypto-currency ever created, and now there are many developers creating more Crypto-currencies with different names utilizing Bitcoin’s protocol and software which were published openly.

Now the number of Crypto-currencies is increasing almost every day. (February 2018)
