If you Forex broker offers you with an API connected client portal where you can change the password for your trading account, then you may change the password in that way.

If not, you can change the password(both Master and Investor password) directly from MT5 trading platform.

To do that, please go to “Tools”→”Options”, and the below option window will pop up.

Then, you need to click on “Change”, and the below window pops up.

Here you can change both Master Password and Investor Password directly.

By changing the password from MT5 trading platform, even your Forex broker wouldn’t know your updated password.

Please note that there are certain rules for setting the new password for your MT5 trading account.

• It cannot be shorter than the length required in the password change dialog.
• Must contain at least two of three types of characters: lower case, upper case and digits.
• Must not be the same as the previous password.

Alternatively, if you don’t know the password or how to change the password, you may ask your account manager for doing it.
