Question: What does "Average Weighted Price" indicate on MT4 and MT5 trading platforms?
The statistics value, “Average Weighted Price” indicates “the weighted average price for a session”.
The value shows the average price of the selected financial instrument, but it is not bid or ask price.
If you like to refer to more information(statistical value) of a specific symbol on MT5, then you can find them in other tabs of Market Watch or Depth of Market and Time & Sales board which are available by right clicking in the “Market Watch” window.
*There are also other ways to show or refer to the average price of a specified financial instrument, by using technical indicators.
