Question: I can't find a server name on MT4 (MetaTrader4). How do I login to my account now?
It sometimes happens that the trading server name specified by your Forex broker isn’t available in your MT4.
In this case, you may check the followings to resolve this issue.
1. Search for the Server Name
Please go to “File”→”Open an Account” and type the server name and search for it if it is available.
If the server name really exist and registered with MetaQuotes, it should appear in the list.
Please make sure that if there is a connection from the trading server in the list too.(you can see the latency next to the server names)
You can also search for the server name of other brokers, using the MT4 of other Forex brokers.
2. Download the broker’s MT4
Sometimes some Forex brokers’ trading server names don’t appear unless you have their specified MT4 program.
So if you haven’t been using the MT4 of your Forex broker, please download the one provided from your broker.
The MT4 will have the logo of your broker in it, and all available server names should be already lined up ready.
3. Try out other server names
It often happens that a broker changes their server names or updates them.
You may also try out other server names for your trading account, and see if you can login with that.
Sometimes you can login to your MT4 account with different server names.
