License and Regulation of Finveo

Finveo provides its clients with services such as receiving and transferring orders related to the sale and purchase of financial instruments, execution of orders on behalf of clients, trading for its own account, portfolio management, investment consulting, foreign currency business services related to investment services, such as and other ancillary investment services in accordance with the obtained license.

Finveo is controlled and licensed by the Capital Market Commission of Montenegro, which is an independent regulatory agency that oversees the capital market, the operation of the stock exchange, and authorized market participants. The Capital Market Commission also oversees the securities settlement system through the supervision of the Central Depository and Clearing Company of Montenegro. The Commission for the capital market on its website publishes a list of licensed investment companies in Montenegro.

In order to comply with international rules and principles, the Capital Market Commission of Montenegro is a member of the International Organization of Securities Commissions (IOSCO).

The legal framework governing investment companies in Montenegro is based on the Markets in Financial Instruments Directive (MiFID), which is an EU law that provides harmonized regulations for financial services in the EU Member States.
