What is Global Prime?

Global Prime is an Australian FX and CFD provider specializing in low latency connectivity for level-1 bank liquidity and ECNs for an unrivaled trading experience.

Global Prime was founded in 2010 and is an Australian Financial Services Provider.

The Company was originally founded to serve the then burgeoning user base of the MT4 platform. This situation came at a time when expert advisors were becoming more traditional and “ECNs” were becoming more common among retail brokers.

In 2011, Global Prime management asked if Elan Bension and Jeremy Kinstlinger, current satisfied customers, could join the team to take Global Prime to the next level.

Overnight, the two went from being traders to brokers and the decision was made to launch Global Prime’s institutional and transparent Forex offering to retail investors.

The granting of institutional benefits to the individual has been in the Company’s DNA since then.

Global Prime’s leadership team has over 80 combined years of experience in financial trading and related markets.

Is Global Prime a safe and trusted broker?

Global Prime is authorized to negotiate contracts for securities, derivatives and currencies, as well as to provide general and personal advice to retail and wholesale customers.

Protecting your money is of paramount importance to Global Prime. All customer money is managed in accordance with customer currency laws and kept separate from company funds. Client money is held in segregated Client Trust Accounts with NAB bank, an AA-rated Australian bank regulated by APRA and ASIC.

All financial services regulators apply their own unique set of laws, rules and protections relating to customer money. This means that the Global Prime entity you contract with will determine the legal protections granted to your money held with Global Prime and what those funds can be used for, as detailed below.
