One of the possible reasons because you cannot place any new orders might be that:

Your account is a “Beginners” or “Standard” account, the account balance has exceeded 5,000 USD.

As IFC Markets set the maximum account balance(equity) limitation for these accounts to $5,000, if you have made some profits and the equity exceeds the amount, you won’t be able to open new positions anymore.

In this case, you will need to upgrade the account types to “Standard” account, or withdraw/inter-transfer the equity to other and decrease the equity to less than 3,000 USD.

Another possible reason could be because:

IFC Markets finds that you are not following their rules of tradings.

Unfortunately, the broker doesn’t specify what kind of trading methods are restricted though, some investors have reported that their profits were taken by the broker as they weren’t following the rules set by IFC Markets.

As IFC Markets acts as a Market Maker for its traders, you may want to be aware of the risks of trading with Market Makers.
