The trading server on both MT4 and MT5 trading platforms are fixed to:

GMT+2

and

GMT+3 during Summer Time in NY

The time doesn’t follow specific country’s time though, it follows the “Market Closing Time of NY Exchange Market”.

As the time on MT4 and MT5 are set to GMT+2(GMT+3 on DST “Daylight Saving Time” in NY), 00:00 on MT4 and MT5 is adjusted to the “Market Closing Time of NY Exchange Market”.

It is the time the market of the day ends, and Swap(overnight financing) will be credited to each position.

*On MT4 and MT5, you cannot change the trading server time or the display time on the platform.
