EightCap offers two types of accounts, Standard Account and Raw Account.
The minimum required deposit amount for both account is only 100 USD, and by opening additional accounts, you can have both of them at the same time.
There are almost no differences between them though, the only difference is that:
- The Standard account is offered with spread with Markups by EightCap, and no extra trading commissions.
- The Raw account is offered with “Raw” spread which is the actual spread provided by its liquidity providers. But there will be extra trading commissions charged for each trade.
EightCap doesn’t have a general limitation regarding to the number of trading accounts you can have.
So you can also open several trading accounts and see how the spreads are different in each account before start trading.
MT4 and MT5 trading platforms
EightCap offers both MT4 (MetaTrader4) and MT5 (MetaTrader5) trading platforms.
While you can choose from different account types, you can also choose different trading platforms.
MT4 is currently (in 2019) the most popular trading platform used by hundreds of online brokers.
MT5 comes with new features as it is the latest platform developed by MetaQuotes. MT5 generally has many more advanced and flexible options for traders.
