It has come to the attention that several unknown individuals are fraudulently approaching SwissMarkets’ customers via telephone or email.
Customers are lured to fake websites where they are asked to enter personal data such as their payment information.
Customers are contacted under various pretenses that are false.
As a precaution, SwissMarkets are providing this notice and outlining some steps you may take to help protect yourself.
In the email sent out to customers, it mentions:
We sincerely apologize for any inconvenience or concern this may cause you.
We would like to reassure you that BDSwiss is NOT related in any way to those said fraudulent individuals and that those emails and phone calls did NOT originate from BDSwiss.
Please do not follow their instructions.
Please note that we take the security of our customer data very seriously and that we are here for you any time.
You may never open a suspicious email or an email when you are not sure about its authenticity nor click on any link in these fake emails.
Forward any suspicious emails without any comment to the support team.
