A swap charge by XM is higher than the normal days. How do I calculate the swap charge?

Every Wednesday, the swap charges are tripled.

This is because of the accumulated swap charges through weekend(Saturday and Sunday) and the value date is always “two days forward“.

So the swaps for the weekends are calculated on the Wednesdays which is two days after the weekends.

The amount of Swap charge can be calculated with the below formula.

Swap charge = Number of lots × Swap rate(long or short) × Point size

The ‘Point Size’ equals to “The minimum price fluctuation value × Contract size”.
