No, arbitrage trading is not allowed with FBS.
FBS is a STP broker which allows any trading methods in MT4 though, arbitrage is not allowed just like other brokers.
What is arbitrage?
Arbitrage trading is referred as follows:
- Hedging when using bonuses
- Hedging between accounts with other brokers
Hedging method is used when traders like to limit the losses of certain positions.
But in this case, hedging is used for making profits without taking risks.
Difference between Arbitrage & Hedging
Hedging is when you order two positions on the same currency and the same trading volume but different direction(but or sell).
The hedging method is allowed among most of the brokers and it is traded by professional users and novice traders etc.
Arbitrage trading is applied on the hedging trading but using different accounts. (or sometimes the same account)
For instance, if you have received two bonuses from two different brokers and trade hedging with them, you can avoid to lose your original funds but only bonuses in one account and make profit in another account.
Arbitrage is not allowed in Forex
Even a broker mentions that it allows any trading methods on MT4, cTrader etc, that does not necessarily mean that you can even trade arbitrage with the accounts.
We have seen so many complains against some brokers that they have cancelled some profits when withdrawing the funds, because the clients were trading arbitrage and abusing the bonus promotions.
Trading arbitrage is simply prohibited and you may not want to do that with any brokers.
Which brokers allow arbitrage?
Unfortunately, we have not seen any brokers that allow arbitrage trading in their platform.
