If you wish to update your MT4’s chart data, please follow the below instruction.
First you need to open your MetaTradr4 trading platform and login to your trading account.
Then, go to “Tools” and select “History Center” as below.
In the another screen, you can see all available financial symbols as a list.
To update the price data, you need to select the time frame and select all of the price data appeared, then click “Delete” twice.
All MT4 price data of the selected time frame of the symbol is now gone, to re-install it, you can simply open the Chart in the time frame or add from the history center.
