Question: How to login my account on MT5 (MetaTrader5) trading platform?
To login to your MT5 trading account, you can use either the MT5 from your Forex broker or the MetaQuotes official website.
Once you have downloaded the trading platform, please go to “File”→”Login to Trade Account”.
Then you need to fill in the required field.
The login credentials should have been already provided when you have opened the MT5 trading account.
If the specified trading server from your Forex broker, isn’t in the dropdown list of the login window, you need to add the server.
To do that, please go to “File”→”Open an Account” and type the serer name you are seeking in the field below.
You can alternatively tryout different server names of your Forex broker, as sometimes you can login to your trading account with different server names than the one allocated to you.
*Many novice traders do make mistakes when logging into their trading accounts by misspelling.
