If your login is protected with SSL certificate authentication and you like to use another PC(or several other PCs), you may copy or move completely the SSL certificate to the new computers.

To do that, you can simply copy the Certificate from the data folder of your existing MT5 to the same folder of other PC’s MT5.

The SSL certificate is saved as PFX file in /platform_folder/config/certificates.

e.g. …MetaQuotes\Terminal\D0E8C8CF209F7737AE51FD8BF550F075\config\certificates

Then the other computers with the same SSL certificate can also login to your trading account and access to the specified trading server.

The MT5 of other PCs will be required to use the same password for SSL certificate every time you try to login to the trading account.

*Please note that the SSL certificate authentication is enabled on the trading server’s side, but not on the trading accounts or the trading platform. Thus, if your trading server requires you a SSL certificate for your trading account to login, then you will need the certificate and password for the certificate to login from any devices.
