Question: How can I send emails from MT5 (MetaTrader5) trading platform?
MetaTrader4 and 5 contain “Internal Mailing System” which can work only between servers and the users of the platforms.
You can not send emails to outside of MetaTrader system, but you can send emails to the administrators of the trading server.
You cannot send emails to other MT5 users or some certain domains.
To create an email, select the appropriate command in the context menu, or use the hot key “Insert” on the Mailbox tab.
And then, fill in the field required as specified.
You can attach up to 5 files and up to 4 MB.
*If you like to setup an EA to send email notification to your email address, you need to have a SMTP server to register within the platform. You will also need an EA(or custom indicator) to activate email notification option.
